Physical education
Different types of physical education are available depending on the student's needs:
- Regular physical education is used whenever possible when a student has a minor disability and is able to successfully participate in the class activities.
- Adapted physical education is available which focuses more on recreational and functional activities such as bowling, swimming, bocce ball, snowshoeing, and riding bike. These activities can be done lifelong with their families after schooling is done.
- Specially designed physical education is used at times when a student has significant physical challenges where he/she can not participate in regular or adapted physical education.
